Gwen (Kroon) Tellier was born in Calgary, and spent most of her life
on the Alberta prairie. Gwen began painting in Junior High school. She completed a certificate course at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, and three years of an online course with Nick Wilton of the Art2Life Creative Visionary Program out of Sausalito, California. Despite having taken numerous art workshops, she is mostly a self taught painter. 

Gwen exhibited at and ran the “Royal Sproule Gallery” at the Rosebud Theatre for the Arts in Rosebud, Alberta. She has sold numerous pieces to private individuals throughout Canada and currently has her work on display at the Aurora Matheson Gallery in Penticton.
