Patricia Grace is proud to say she is a “British Columbian girl.” In early childhood, she was always painting and drawing. When she was gifted an oil paint-by-number set at 8 years old, she knew she had found her medium, and in grade 5 she sold her first painting for $5. Later on her artistic journey, Patricia took a crash course in oil painting, and was discovered by the Evans Gallery in Kelowna in the mid-80s. Since then, she has exhibited in the Paint Brush Gallery, the Raymond Chow, the Okanagan Art Gallery (both in Oliver and Osoyoos), the Tutt Street Gallery, and Gallery 421 in Kelowna.
Her work is currently exhibited at Aurora Matheson Fine Art Gallery, and Tumbleweed Gallery, both located in Penticton.

In 1991 Patricia completed the first year of architecture at BCIT, which inspired her to start painting on larger surfaces. In the movie industry she worked as a scenic artist with IATSE, and completed numerous indoor and outdoor murals in Vancouver and California. For most of her career she was an interior house painter and a freelance oil and mural painter. Patricia is an ethereal oil painter, who artistically evokes her spiritual essence through painting. Her inspiration comes from a deep connection to her faith. This connection is a gift she received to heal from early childhood trauma, but is also as a gift she wishes to share with others. She also receives inspiration from nature on the hiking trails and beaches only step away from her home.

Patricia’s love of painting is lifelong; she continues to work as a full time artist in her own home outside of Peachland BC, surrounded by nature.
