Art Walk & Sculpture Day
The Penticton Art Gallery and Aurora Matheson Fine Art Gallery are once again presenting The Sculpture Day event on March 23rd, 2024 during the inaugural Ignite the Arts Festival, a nine-day celebration of art and culture.

About the event
Sculpture Day will be located at Aurora Matheson Fine Art Gallery, 221 Martin Street and on the City Centre Gym Parking lot, adjacent to the Gallery. This event will take part in conjunction with the Spring Art Walk which showcases art throughout greater Penticton. The official time for both of these events will be from 11:00-4:00 P.M.
What to Expect
Live Painting
Similar to a mini-art market, artists will be displaying their work as well as selling paintings, cards, and commissions. Meet, greet, and connect with local artists as they craft right before your eyes.
Sculpture Exhibition & Demo:
Check out the outdoor sculpture exhibition as artists showcase their pieces. You will also have the opportunity to watch as local sculptors build magnificent works, inviting you to engage with the Sculptors through Q&A.
